Thoughtful sourcing starts with understanding the pearls, metals and finishes used in an individual piece.
Pearl sourcing
We source our pearls from ethically managed pearl farms through suppliers with relevant certification. Our pearls are genuine cultured pearls, selected for their colour, lustre, shape and natural character.
Freshwater and saltwater pearls grow in different environments. Pearl type and any relevant colour-treatment details should be considered alongside the individual design. See our Pearl FAQs for more information.
Metals and finishes
Materials differ across the collection. Gold-filled, gold-plated, sterling silver and solid gold describe different constructions; a surface finish does not, by itself, identify the metal underneath.

Finishing and aftercare
Our jewellery is hand-finished in London. We provide care guidance and assess repair enquiries to help you look after your piece over time.
